Judith Minter, LCSW, believes good relationships are the key to a satisfying life. Early on she decided she wanted to focus on this for her life’s work, and has spent her professional career working with individuals and families in a variety of settings. As a result, and in combination with personal life events, she has come to appreciate the importance and the complexity of being in good relationship with self and other. She also has seen how our committed relationships can be a path to wholeness.

Judith became a Certified Imago Relationship Coach in 2000, and has continued with intensive advanced training through the Imago Relationships International Institute. She is also a Certified Imago Couples Workshop Presenter. She received her Master of Social Work degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1979, and has been in full time private practice since 1993. She has experience as well in administration, both in program development and implementation, and as a department head in a large hospital. She has received Personal Coach Training from the Institute of Life Coach Training (1999), the Coaches Training Institute (1999-2000), and the Relationship Coaching Institute(2003).

She also has interests in working with singles searching for a life partner, and adults with ADD, anxiety, depression and/or life transitions.

In her personal life, Judith is an amateur painter and lives near Charlottesville with her husband and their two dogs.
